Martin Foley urges Victorians to come forward and get their booster jab

Health Minister Martin Foley is urging residents to come forward and get their booster jab to help slow the spread of the Omicron COVID variant.

It comes as Victoria recorded 3,676 new COVID-19 cases, the highest number for the state since the pandemic begun.

“The important thing we can do is if you haven’t booked yet and you are eligible at the moment from four months once we hit the fourth of January, please come forward and book your appointment,” Mr Foley said.

“And get that vital third jab and do your bit to protect yourself and your family and your community.”
